The Tina & Gigi show is a journey to discover friendship, the wonders of geometry and the beauty and richness of diversity. Shapes and primary colors mix, points become lines and finally figures: square, circle, triangle. Thus are born the elephant Tina, the tiger Gigi, the mouse Ignazio, the turtle Rita and the piglet Ninè. Together they are a community, united in play as in life, and the harmony and desire to be together give rise to a pleasant surprise.
The original music, composed by Andrea Napolitano, Gianluca Palma and Francesco Maestri, is created using 32 different musical instruments with the aim of creating a unique sound experience, a real musical landscape. Shadows, puppets, silhouettes and puppets add up and join shapes, color and sound, complementing each other in an inclusive drama, designed to awaken attention and curiosity even in the very young.
The show is taken from the book “Gli Amici di Tina & Gigi” and “Chi sono?”, the first two volumes of the series “Tina & Gigi” published by Fatatrac-Giunti.
